1. Adopt an LGBTIQA+ Inclusion Policy — including a public statement, definitions, commitments, and alignment with NSW and national frameworks.
2. Integrate LGBTIQA+ priorities into the Community Strategic Plan — embed actions, KPIs, and reporting across the CSP, Delivery Program, and Operational Plan.
3. Establish an LGBTIQA+ Advisory Committee — ideally in partnership with neighbouring councils to strengthen regional coordination and lived‑experience leadership.

5. Implement a year‑round visibility and equity calendar.
6. Install permanent Pride‑affirming public infrastructure — flags, murals, rainbow paths, inclusive signage, safe‑space markers, and visibility in multiple suburbs.
7. Support queer arts, culture, youth programs, and events.
8. Conduct LGBTIQA+ community safety and facilities audits
9. Partner with GLLOs and local services on safety responses
10. Strengthen internal capability and workforce inclusion — mandatory training, inclusive HR policies, and an internal Pride network.
