About the event

Learn the basics of handbuilding in an LGBTQIA+ community workshop led by artist, Linda Margrie.

The day will begin with lunch - a chance to meet people and get to know your community.

The 3-hour workshop is an opportunity to handbuild your choice of two objects - a plate, necklace, or chook. Once the work is dry, we will add colour and design with under-glaze.

Important information:

  • The workshop is open to LGBTQIA+ community members and allies.
  • Participants are recommended to be 12 years+
  • Clay and tools are provided. We will be working with Stoneware clay and have a range of under-glaze colours available.
  • Price includes clay, under-glaze, clear glaze, and kiln firing.
  • Work created during the workshop will be available to pick-up, 2-weeks after, from the Gallery
  • Lunch will be provided. Please indicate if you have any dietary requirements.
